The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Istanbul Medeniyet University’s Faculty of Health Sciences organized the “4th International Healthy Nutrition Congress” and the “1st Istanbul Medeniyet University International Nutrition and Dietetics Congress” on April 20-21, 2024. These events aimed to share the latest scientific data in the field of nutrition and dietetics, enhance the knowledge and skills of participants, and create an interactive learning environment.
The congresses brought together nationally and internationally recognized academics, experts, and researchers to address the latest developments in critical areas such as healthy nutrition, dietetic practices, and the prevention and management of chronic diseases. Participants had the opportunity to exchange knowledge through scientific presentations, panels, and workshops, and to network with their peers.
These congresses provided a significant platform to shape the future of nutritional science and improve public health. Participation in the congresses offered a valuable opportunity for professionals, students, and all stakeholders working in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
During the congress, the General Secretary of our Foundation, Özlem Üliç Çatar, presented the program titled 'Nutrition and Nutrition Communication Training for Healthcare Professionals: A Practical Example,' conducted in collaboration with AHEF, to the attendees.
