We are a foundation established to support the dissemination of information in the fields of food, nutrition, and health to the public. We take our name from Sabri Ülker, one of the pioneering entrepreneurs of Türkiye's food industry. We have been active since 2009 as the Sabri Ülker Food Research Institute Foundation.
Our Founding Purpose
As an independent, scientific, and non-profit institution, our purpose is to contribute to the development of awareness regarding food, nutrition, and healthy living.
Vision :To become a globally respected foundation that makes a meaningful impact on public health by collaborating with scientists and scientific institutions.
Mission: To provide global and sustainable contributions to public health by bringing together scientific research, educational programs, and networks of scientific experts; carrying out these efforts with an awareness of upholding the legacy of Sabri Ülker, whose life was dedicated to the happiness of children.
Based on these facts, our foundation's goals are:
• To conduct activities that support healthy nutrition and lifestyles.
• To inform the public about the latest scientific developments.
• To monitor scientific studies, legislation, and practices at national and international levels.
• To collaborate with universities, public institutions, and non-governmental organizations to help the public access accurate and reliable information about healthy nutrition and food, and to support such efforts.
All our efforts are dedicated to sharing the most current information and latest studies in nutritional science with a clarity that everyone can benefit from. All of our foundation's work is carried out by our Scientific Board, which consists of expert academics in the fields of food, nutrition, and health. The Sabri Ülker Food Research Foundation's Scientific Board collaborates with reliable information sources and reference institutions at the national and international levels.

The Foundation, established in memory of Sabri Ülker, the doyen of the Turkish food industry, and deriving its mission from his life philosophy, continues its activities to enlighten the public with scientific and reliable information in the fields of nutrition and health. As the sole member from Türkiye in the European Nutrition Foundations' Communication Platform, the Foundation has been delivering reliable scientific information on healthy living and nutrition to the public since 2009. It continues on its path with the goal of becoming Türkiye's reference institution, in collaboration with globally accepted reference organizations. The Sabri Ülker Foundation is a scientific and non-profit institution whose work is conducted by an independent Scientific Board composed of expert scientists in their fields.
Some of the reference institutions the Foundation closely follows are: EFSA (European Food Safety Authority), FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration), FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations), WHO (World Health Organization), JECFA (The Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives), BNF (British Nutrition Foundation), ILSI (International Life Sciences Institute), EUFIC (European Food Information Council), and ADA (American Dietetic Association).
